The main objective in working with drug users is to reduce the health and social consequences of drug use , with an emphasis on behavior change that leads to preventing the spread of HIV, hepatitis B and C and other blood and sexually transmitted diseases . The project is based on external methods ( outreach ) work, which aims to get in contact with the beneficiaries of the program where they are located and the specific conditions of life in Zagreb ( neighborhood functioning of life ) .

The purpose of the project is to develop a network of services for children and young people from socially deprived families and their parents that will lead to improving their life skills and quality of life in order to achieve their full life potential . The three objectives of the project : improving the availability of psychosocial services in the community for children , youth and parents from socially depriviniranih family ; create a positive image of the negative stereotypes such as poverty , homelessness , single parenting and foster care . The third objective is the integration of children’s perspectives in the construction of public policies for children , youth and families .

This is a project which is one of the main objectives to increase awareness about the dangers of adolescent substance abuse as well as to learn about the risk factors that can lead to their consumption . The project ” Strengthening the role of civil society in addressing the problems of single parent families in Croatia ” meets a variety of needs and problems of single-parent families , according to research , more compelling in European and Croatian society . As the number of these families , so do the problems and needs of single parent families – problems in the family , communicating with a former spouse or children , mastering the difficult work and family roles that usually carry mothers , stigmatization and social isolation of single fathers . In addition to direct work with beneficiaries , the project we investigated the perceptions of employers about the role of working single parents and single parents experience in mastering work and family life ( their proposals are submitted to the relevant ministries and government offices ) . We encourage questions rights of single parent families in Croatia , with a focus on children’s rights in the exercise of statutory maintenance of the parent with whom the child lives . According to unofficial data, only 40 % of children receiving assistance for maintenance ( alimony ) , and thus disrupted the relationship between parents and the financial situation of children . The project was implemented in the area of ​​Zagreb and Zagreb County continuously since 2006.do 2009th year . . With the project ” Educational center for single parents ,” we want to improve the quality of life for single parents and children in the Zagreb area so that we will improve the knowledge of single parents on the legal, social and psychological aspects of single parenthood , to provide social support to single parents , improve their social skills for good communication with their children . Part of the project and sub-project ” Prevention of addiction among children of single parents, ” which we want to improve the quality of life for single parents and children in the Zagreb area so that we will improve the knowledge of single parents on recognizing addiction in children ( smoking , alcohol , drugs ) , about the possibilities of prevention addiction in the family , provide social support single parents in the fight against addiction , improve their social skills for good communication about addiction problems and enhance their knowledge about the realization of the relevant rights in the field of addiction prevention .

Freja is a project launched by the Swedish Union of Tenants ( Hyresgästföreningen ) , and whose main objective is the use of mentoring as a method of connecting the project participants and the development of women’s leadership . In the past 20 years , mentoring is one of the most important tools used to develop women in employment . The method is focused on finding a mentor with significant experience in leadership and extensive network of contacts that will convey their experiences in order to develop new women leaders.
